Our History

In 2005, Children For The Arts put on their first performance of It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown at Gulfview Middle School. Previously, Children For The Arts had a 100-seat black box theater located in downtown Naples from 1988-2003. In 2005, Tish Poorman, founder of CFTA found there was a need for after-school theatre programs in Collier County schools and since that time CFTA has held programs at Gulfview Middle School, The Community School of Naples, Pine Ridge Middle School, and now has a permanent home at The Pulte Family Center at St. John The Evangelist Church.
