Learning Experience

When you participate in Backstage you have the opportunity to shadow our production crew to better understand what is needed from a particular job. Whether it's assisting the director with blocking a scene, helping design sets, assisting with costumes or working backstage during a performance, you will gain the learning experience that theatre offers along with being instilled with leadership qualities.

Behind The Scenes

If acting isn’t your thing, you can still be part of the magic of theatre! If you’re 15 years of age or older, consider volunteering for our Backstage Crew and become an essential part of the team. From helping with set changes to assisting during performances, you’ll play a vital role in bringing the production to life — and you’re sure to have a lot of fun along the way!

You are able to receive volunteer hours for all the time you have worked on a production. Backstage is a great way to earn volunteer hours required from your high school.
